Re: Jeff Healey Band ~ See the Light (1988)
I will NEVER forget the first time I saw Jeff on the Arsenio Hall show back in the late 80's. I didn't know much about him at the time, but I became an instant fan when I saw him play.
watching him sit there on his chair, playing the guitar on his lap, and with his fret hand on top of the fretboard, etc. I was just blown away. First that he could play that way, but secondly because he ****ing ROCKED!!! on the solo, he stood up and was playing with the guitar facing out towards the audience, then he picked it up and started picking with his teeth. It was just sooooo cool.
On that day I became an instant fan. Very little of his work I have not enjoyed. I love that album he did that was all cover tracks, called Cover to Cover:
1. Shapes of Things
2. Stop Breakin' Down
3. Highway 49
4. As the Years Go Passing By
5. I'm Ready
6. Evil
7. Stuck in the Middle with You
8. Angel
9. Moon Is Full
10. Yer Blues
11. Communication Breakdown
12. Me and My Crazy Self
Hell of a musician. RIP Jeff :
