Is Van Halen a hair band?

Why would you use terms like posers and sold out with reference to a band you rather like?

Because simply, I thought Blondie were a punk rock poser who made a few songs I liked...


Blondie just blatantly sold out to every music trend that came along.(punk, disco, new wave, hip hop). I know thery're not the only band to do so, and not a serious crime, but they didn't try to hide it, and most fans didn't care. But what it comes down to, is the music - and I liked a few Blondie songs.

I personally never took Blondie as a serious hardcore punk band. It takes a lot more than making two and a half minute songs, to become punk rock in my opinion.

But, that's just me. I'm not saying I'm the authority on anything...just giving my opinion.

No, Van Halen isn't a hair band. Eddie is pretty kick ass though.
