^:D The really, really, really, really older pressings have inner sleeves that have the releases of other artists on the same label. Like a flyer almost...

I loved the new Pink Floyd releases, complete with all the original posters and stickers. DSOTM, WYWH and The Wall, worth checking out if you're a fan.:D

^I have a sealed Dark Side Of The Moon U.K. gatefold pressing with a poster. I should crack that open... Uuummm, then again...maybe not. Have The Wall too.

It is not on the list...but I also have to give my old cassettes a spin. I still have tapes I recorded off the those King Biscuit Flower Hour and In Concert FM broadcasts. I have to include my trusted Nakamichi deck in on the fun during 2013!

Speaking of which...I was offered a Tascam Pro cassette deck that is in excellent condition with those old fashioned needle meters. It plays well with the belts in great working order and the tape heads were replaced not too long ago. It was part of an old recording studio.

Lastly...NO eight tracks!

^^I've got two cassette decks both work perfectly and I love Tascam, almost bought one a couple years ago.

Agreed Bruce. They've provided some excellent products for recording and playing purposes. I have a DAT machine from them that I purchased from Guitar Center. I have a smattering of DATs too. Unreal how a miniscule medium have so much capacity. And no having to turn the side over too!

It was a DAT machine, I hesitated because getting tape is almost impossible and the guy selling it only had a couple...not much good without media to mess around with.

Too bad DAT didn't arrive 5 years earlier, would have been interesting to see how it developed, but the CD snuffed it out before the labels got behind the format.

I'll be listening to my ipod. I held out on the CD train for a long while. I love my old walkman. But eventually with the convenience of not having to plan ahead what albums I'm going to want to listen to 10 hours from now, and instead having 100 albums with me wherever I go, the iPod won out and I won't be going back to CDs any time soon.

Vinyl, CD's, DVD's and my MP3 (at work).

Don't forget one of these complimentary to your music listening experience Old Ent.
