The Dregs/Deep Purple maestro turns 55 today. Met him twice. San Antonio 2004 w/ DP and got a pic. Saw him two yrs. later in Myrtle Beach @ HoB w/ The Dregs and Steve Morse Band (he opened for himself!) and got it signed. Very friendly. At the end of the show he jumped off the stage and started talking to fans and signing autographs.
