So I'm trying to sell my car and I'm waiting for my appraisal at the car lot. Sitting in the waiting room, over the speakers I hear a song I recognize put can't quite make out as it's playing in the background.

Listening closer, I hear that it's "Rock and Roll Star" by Barclay James Harvest.

I couldn't believe it as I've never heard that song mentioned or played anywhere but here in this forum. Until now.

Anyone else ever hear an obscure song over the radio or in the store?

Love it when an unexpected song comes on the radio. The other day I heard Chris de Burgh's Spanish Train on LM Radio from Mozambique (streaming)

I love when you are walking around a department store or something, and a jammin' song comes on the radio.

I remember shopping at this local grocery store near me when I hear "Not So Sweet Martha Lorraine" by Country Joe & Fish on the radio.

I almost burst out in laughter at them playing a Country Joe & Fish song, especially this song at a grocery store.

Here is the song for anyone who has no idea what I'm talking about.
