I just picked up the new Gregg Allman album & it's really great old blues stuff.

I'll write up a proper review later this week but after 1 listen I was pretty impressed

Three great tracks. "Tears, Tears, Tears" is superb with the piano and the horns.

Just giving this thread a gentle bump.

The album is mostly Gregg's versions of songs by the blues greats like Junior Wells, Muddy Waters, B. B. King, and Otis Rush. Gregg did co-write a song with Warren Haynes on the album........"Just Another Rider".

Excellent song!!
