Why are there still posts doubting that Van Halen will release an album folks? Are you kidding me? Just to recap:
1. They started recording it 17 January 2011. Less than a year ago.
2. Did the sensible thing and didn't over excite their fans, no doubt in case it didn't work out
3. As soon as they were ready and had a label (little more than a month after signing with Interscope i.e. 26th December 2011 and STILL within the same year), they drip fed tastefully rather than pushing it down everyone's throat.
4. Nice reputation building date at Cafe Wha? no problem with streams and videos of the performance and full confirmation of an accompanying tour.
Can we please stop with the Van Halen bashing now and wait to see what the music is like? In three days we'll have a single and one month a 13 track LP.
What's next, steal the goddamn CDs when they come out and deny the LP exists? And as for the posts criticising the album cover, that's just shallow and irrelevant.
