I'm only looking on the shelves at the moment... some good post glam stuff!
You have a massive collection?

my collection is decent, around 1500 albums…and I have no clue how many burned CD’s I have.

I got to like Queen because I read in the music press that around this time Freddie was picked up by the cops in LA for
'walking around a wealthy area in scruffy clothes'... Plus the "No Synthesisers" tag on all their early albums did appeal.
The first of two albums this year(a good few had two releases!)
Queen had it written into their contract back then that albums be recorded at Trident... Originally it ( I think) had a black and a white side but Roy Thomas Baker changed that concept... no biggy-great album.

A great LP i missed until later (Straight Shooter) was really where I came in... I think money had a lot to do with it... I saved cash for Deep Purple or Uriah Heep same day releases... And only 3 TV channels (so you clung to Old Grey Whistle Test every Tuesday!)
