You know how it goes, and how it's been since the beginning of time.

A band or artist comes along and becomes an overnight sensation - all because of one solitary single, and virtually disappears into nothingness before terribly long, fading into obscurity.

While most of us know some acts that appeared to be one-hit wonders, but have achieved much more just out of the media's reach, this thread is basically just for the charts' evidence of "one-hit".

Let's not get into technicalities here. ;D

What are some of your favourite "one-hit wonder" tracks?

Donnie Iris will be my #1,2 and 3 nominations all at the same time. I think he owns the title of being the only guy to be a one-hit-wonder three separate times (pay attn if you don't know what I'm talking about)

1970) The Jaggerz - The Rapper (#2 on the charts)
1976) Wild Cherry - Play That Funky Music (#1 on the charts)
1980) Donnie Iris (Solo) - Ah! Leah (#29 on the charts)

Three times in a decade this guy hit the charts with 3 different bands, none of which really had anything else noteworthy. I know he was around in the 60's as well, but don't know much about his career at that point.
