^^I take Dylan's criticism with a large grain of salt, he was borrowing tons of his "inspiration" from other folk artists back when none of them cared about plagiarism or copywrite laws.

I like later Beatles more than early Beatles, but I consider the "Red Album" one of the essential compilations for anyone who wants an introduction to the early years of the band.(Without collecting all the individual albums.)

I'd actually never heard of Dylan's inspiration for Nowhere Man, i always heard that John was having trouble writing a song for Rubber Soul, and it just sort of spawned out of a sort of self-evaluation.

George. His songs had the biggest impact on me, he had a great sense of humor and generally seemed like a very interesting and complex guy. He also did some incredibly kind things for fans, despite being so private.

John but as I grow older and wise I'm really appreciating George.

John Lennon. He sings my two favorite Beatle songs- I Am The Walrus and Twist And Shout.
