They were all great, but my favorite was always John Lennon. It started when I was just a little kid back in 1965 with this vocal which I played over and over again...

And it continued after the break-up...

And I'll never forget the news...

All four were extremely loveable in their "cheeky" Liverpool ways. The MAGIC of the band was the certain chemistry that existed through pure symbiosis. The whole was much greater than its parts. From a philisophical angle,George Harrison influenced my thinking and spiritual values most.

How about New York disc jockey Murray the K,the first to be slapped with the "fifth Beatle" moniker.Later in a wondrful insider book called "The Love You Make",co-author and Beatles confidant Peter Brown recalls roadie Neil Aspinall being the true "5th Beatle".I guess a sixth would be his assistant Mal Evans. As far as some who used to call Brian Epstein "Beatle-by-proxy",Epstein never really truly fit in with the Fabs in terms of basic nature. On top of that, even his managerial abilities were highly in question at times.
