If we can count Phish and the Dave Matthews Band as mainly 90s artists (I think that would be fair enough), they both make my list as well.

Matthews is playing 3 dates here at the Gorge Amphitheatre. It took me a while to get into him, but I think I am going to be getting some tickets this time around. He's very much the type of musician that NEEDS to be heard live.

I have tons of repspect for Dave Mathews. His songs are all pretty cool and his voice is great. I kinda don't like the attitude & style about them though, it's not my kind of style. Perhaps I'll be able to get into him more when the material is older.

P.S. I think I'm getting into Blind Melon...! (finally gave them a listen last night)

I'm now totally into them AAG....what a great band they were...a total antidote to the lucrative 'depression culture' of 90s music. I'm loving the 70s style rock - and there's something so mesmerizing about Shannon Hoon's full-on addict nutcase vocals - and the slower songs are sad rather than whiney like everyone else on the scene at that time. Just seen that there's DVD of Blind Melon live which was filmed a month before Hoon died....

Anyone else here into this band?
