My personal favorites from 1985 (then and now) from the list are:

Heart -- Heart

Tears For Fears -- Songs From The Big Chair

INXS -- Listen Like Thieves

An album from 1985 I wouldn't listen to for another 10 years, but liked right away is Love by The Cult. Love it! All I knew were the songs played on the radio. I hate that it took me 10 years to discover it (and only because someone from work was playing the CD).
