Where is Hounds of Love? That’s probably the most acclaimed album of ‘85?

Where is Tom Waits?

But to answer your question, those two are my favorite records from 1985. Brothers in Arms is up there too.

I never listen to these guys cos I'm a blues/rocker at heart but Tears For Fears had a BIG hit with a song from the album Songs From The Big Chair with the song Everybody Wants To Rule The World which is a memorable song from the mid 1980s and I knda like it to be honest. Another song from the same year that I also like a lot is Phil Collins and Philip Bailey with Easy Lover that's a great song as well.
