Re: Electric Light Orchestra

I picked up Live At Wembley on DVD today.

What does everyone who's seen it, think about it?

I find it very uninspired, like they're just going through the motions. I saw that DVD Lynne put out a few years back. I think it was dubbed ELO featuring Jeff Lynne. I liked that one.

This isn't horrible, but I guess I expected more.

That's why I don't have many concert videos...I have always preferred to just play the music and use my own imagination for the rest.

There are some exceptions of course, the newer 5.1 DVD's are excellent when it comes to sound quality, and they have remastered/updated some classic old shows too.

MP is our video expert, I am surprised he didn't comment on your recent purchase RS.

I worship at the ELO altar. I think Jeff Lynne is one of the greatest songwriters of the modern age. Nice to see some love for them here. Eldorado, On the Third Day & Out of the Blue have to be my absolute cream of the crop.

Nearly got their whole discography on vinyl. :grinthumb Only first two and last album, Balance Of Power, are missing.
