Perhaps it depends on whether you like the very energetic, athletic guy that does high kicks, jumps and leaps quite a lot of stage, and also drinks a bit of whiskey during his performance or a different kind of guy that stomps the stage, cursing at the audience, clapping hands, jumping up and down and also headbangs?

Ok, I love Ozzy, especially the stuff he did from 1980 to 1995 (touch and go since then). But as a "frontman" goes, he couldn't lift David Lee Roth's jock with a forklift. Diamond Dave is one of the greatest frontment in the history of rock. The energy he had in concert, the way he got the fans going, his overall demeaner... just one of the best.

Ozzy has one thing on him though, well everyone for that matter. I've never hear anyone drop F-Bombs like Ozzy can and does. Some cussing, sure. But Oz holds that title!

I like David as a frontman a lot. Seeing Ozzy live I've gotta go with him. Such a great performer.

Diamond Dave was the best. I think Ozzy is a pretty lame frontman.
