This might be a weird question but I have been wondering this all day. I think there are some similarities between the bands.
- Both are from California (although different regions)
- Both (at least to me) are soft rock primarily, although some tracks sound country
- I personally associate both bands with their big hits way more than their full albums, with both having a few really good albums.
The Eagles have remained more popular in recent years, but I still am very curious on your thoughts on this topic.
