I don't really know enough about these bands (virtually nothing, to be honest), or their histories to have an objective opinion.
Are these songs just something they're doing to reach a different audience, like speaking French in France? Or is this a hybrid of their roots?
I listened to all the songs in this thread. A couple of them, I think, actually hit a nerve in my spine and partially paralyzed me for a second.
