True. It is quite corny, even for Coldplay.

But I'd say X&Y is the Coldplay album I know the best. It's just a superb album in general that makes you feel so calm and relaxed.

I, for the life of me cannot find my copy of X&Y. I may have to add it to my list of downloads and/or purchases in the near future. Haven't heard it in quite some time.

It's fabulous, but I don't think many people here would like it. Not their style.

Maybe not on here, but worldwide they're pretty huge IMO. I was looking into tickets for them for Dallas awhile back and they ranged $150+ a pop. Bad bands don't get to sell their tickets for those kinds of prices.

I know they're pretty big everywhere. I wish they'd come to Seattle. I'd do anything to see them. I've heard numerous times that they put on a fantastic show. And I wouldn't doubt it.

Fortunately for me, all their singles (excluding Yellow) weren't exposed to me when they came out because I only got into Coldplay in 2009, which gave me a brand new view at every song of theirs. Clocks is indeed a big emotional song, but the biggest movers for me are Fix You, Amsterdam, The Scientist and Everything's Not Lost.

I love every album though and most of the songs on them!

I love X&Y and everyboy seems to think that it's Coldplay's worst album, and its actually my favourite. I love it. I can't wait for the new album to be released, i bet it's going to be really cool.

The new Coldplay single!

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall

On first listen it didn't grab me, maybe it'll grow on me


I watched Coldplay at Glastonbury (they were headlining the festival for the third time this year) on tv Saturday night and they were great They played a few of their new songs and some classics including my favourites Yellow and In My Place. Very atmospheric and fab performance

I will be listening to Coldplay for the first time this week, well Seriously listening to them would be more accurate. All you fans have got me curious about them, and after reading Sal's OP, should be interesting if nothing else.
