I went for Whitesnake simply because Coverdale sold his soul for a quick buck!

Europe "Final Countdown" now were talking big hair.

Meh, I guess I will choose RATT since I used to play them to death back in the day. Now I can't stand them at all but whatever. Some cool choices there but songs like Photograph and SCOM have been beaten into my skull so many times I never want to hear them again.

Not a "hair" metal fan, think it is a stupid term that gets applied to any band that has hair on their head at times, and refused to vote for the best "hair" metal song. Instead I voted for Whitesnake.

Photograph, both the song and video drove me crazy since it got so overplayed at the time. It's only within the past few years that I've come to actually like the song!

True ... I think just about every rock band with hair during the mid to late 80's has gotten called a "hair metal" band. I think it was already agreed in another thread that Cinderella really was not.

I'd call Cinderella a Hard Rock/ Metal / band w/ a bit of a Blues thing going on if forced to describe them to someone.
