^^Too far for them to travel and too far to go between gigs when they get here to make it work financially I'm afraid Sweaty, unless they toured the US and then make a dip up here of course...

That would be possible, they only did a handful of dates in the UK so was lucky they played within striking distance. I see so many tour schedules that don't include uk and that annoys me:mad

^^I'm envious, Snow Goose is my favorite Camel album

Same here. Man, what I wouldn't give to see them perform that album live.

By the way, did any of you guys check out the re-recorded version of the album, released last year and simply called "The Snow Goose"? Supposedly it's more or less a note for note re-recording, but I'm curious to hear it none the less. Oh and the artwork is nice:

^^No I've never seen that new edition/re-recording of Snow Goose until now SDM...wonder why they redid it.:hm:

It would be nice to know if there is a significant improvement sound wise from the original which I thought was fine.

Andy Latimer and the band got a well deserved standing ovation, Sweat hit it on the nail.

"A great night was had and what a great band and some dynamite guitar playing."

The more I listen to Camel the more I respect their work, they are creeping up my personal list of prog faves.

I love them, makes me just want to listen to 20 minute tunes that drift off, I am starting to dislike short songs (unless they are on a concept album or part of a long tune). I was glad to get to see them live and what better way than with the Snow Goose album.

So glad to see so many people there and enjoying themselves.

I picked up this at the record show a few weeks ago and It's growing on Me.

Down on The Farm and Starlight Ride are my favorites off this one.
