I AM SOOT!
My biggest rebellion as I was stating was a rebellion against boy groups during their height of popularity. Like I said I feel dumb for even having a wasteful trend like that and I've actually acquired a taste for some gems from the genre in recent years! In reality, I can respect vocal harmonies alone as I've recently really acquired a taste for A Capella! Boy groups have always had the vocal talent in spades and sometimes it works! Here are the ones I like now that I find have legit and enjoyable qualities!
These don't include legit R & B like Boyz II Men, Shai, Jodeci, etc. That for another thread!

(a lot more moody and atmospheric harmonies than most IMO)
O-Town-All Or Nothing
(not going to lie, this was a guilty pleasure even during my rebellion, I'm down with O-Town)
Backstreet Boys-Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely
(real big step to accepting anything by these guys
