Bob Weir Colllapses on Stage -Capital Theatre Port Chester, NY

I've not seen Bob Weir in 24 years so I went tonight to see the last Furthur show of a 9 night stand at the Capital theatre in Port Chester, NY tonight. Right from the begining Bob looked out of it. When he stepped to the mike to sing Me & My Ungle he couldn't remember the words and just mumbled them. As the night went on it looked like he was going to fall over. They at one point gave him chair but he wouldn't sit. Then shortly after he fell down. They then put him in a chair for awhile before stopping the set. Furthur came back and played a few more songs but without Bob Weir who was taken to the Hospital. Hope Bob is okay.

They explained something about a hurt shoulder earlier in the day so maybe someone just gave him some bad meds and he mixed it with alcohol.

Poor bloke! He must have thought to himself "The show must go on" even though he was feeling rotten.

Yeah he kicked the chair away but he was struggling to get to the mike and then couldn't remember the words. The band didn't know what to do? They started sing for him. Very strange nite.

Ak with the camera always there to catch the action. I'm sure that had to be a strange night, and I hope he's ok.

He though they gave him painkillers but it was ambien. No wonder
