Bob Dylan vs. Tom Waits vs. Celine Dion

Celine Dion is a strong technical singer, although I don't always like her full-on style. Her version of It's All Coming Back to Me Now is better than Meatloaf's in my opinion. Tom Waits and Bob Dylan are songwriters and not really singers at all. I voted for Celine.

Dylan, easily. Extremely under-rated singer, he's raw and natural and perfect for his music. This chatter about the hack Dion as a technically adept singer is irrelevant to anything connected with music that conveys genuine emotions. She's an automaton.

Tom Waits is excellent but in small doses.

Celine Dion. I don't really like her music, but as a singer, she's much more stronger. She's a professional, and Bob with Tom - dilettantes.
