Who is the better artist? The up and coming Jakob, or the veteran Bob. This father and this son are both great artists with great sounds.

First, we have Jakob Dylan. Personally, I think that his songwriting is better. Obviously, his voice is better. But as far as guitar skills, I would say it's an even draw.

I'm not a Bob fan but he obviously has the bigger body of work. if I was going by aesthetic and who I'd rather listen to it'd be Jakob. He actually has a great vocal. Neither have ever been in regular rotation for me though. There are better combinations of both vocal and songwriting that fit my taste personally.

I wouldn't play either one on purpose. Bob has the history, Jakob has his dad's name recognition and about 2 or 3 hits with a band that has basically been completely irrelevant for the better part of 16 to 17 years.

Jakob has a better voice, then again, I've heard bulldogs that have better vocals than Bob, so that's not saying much.
