I really need to pick up Vol. 4 and Paranoid, I don't know why I don't have them yet, Sabbath is the perfect amount of heavy for me, they get heavy as hell, but they stay true to the rock n roll roots which I love... I do only like the Ozzy years though, I don't think Dio was a good fit with Sabbath

I saw them live in original line-up on the Reunion tour. That was 10-12-99 in Rotterdam. Playing their music since I was 15 or 16 and then seeing them live was absolutely amazing. Everybody was in great form that evening. All I did that evening was singing/screaming my lungs out with both arms raised!!

Yeah, the Reunion tour was something else. I seen them here in New York. I seen Black Sabbath three times before. Twice with Dio in the 80's and once with Ian Gillan. But this night, I was finally getting the chance the see the original Black Sabbath. What a friggin' night! I'll never forget it.

I love Black Sabbath, especially Osbourne Years.

I remember some burnt out kid in my 8th grade Math class lending me, the ''Paranoid'' and ''Master of Reality'' albums. I went home and dropped the needle on Side 1 of ''Paranoid'' and listened to ''War Pigs'' for the very first time and I freaked!! I never heard music and lyrics like this before. By the end of Side One, a new Black Sabbath fanatic was born.

War Pigs and Iron Man...'nuff said



I believe Iron Man to be the most definitive metal song. It has it all, a fantastic and memorable riff, great lyrics, a bombtastic middle, and epic ending. I mean, come on, Iron Man, even the name says metal music. The sad thing about the song is it is overplayed. I think this song is extremely revolutionary anthem for what Metal stands for.
