Yngwie for me but there are many top notch shredders you could add to this list. I think Magic will vote for Batio.

In terms of shredding I would say Malmsteen is the best since he doesn't know how to do much else other than play fast. Or at least he doesn't like doing anything else it seems.

Though I personally think MAB is more talented, more versatile, and (perhaps the more important for this particular poll) plays faster.

All great choices. In my opinion Gilbert is actually the fastest, but I could be wrong. MAB probably the most versatile, but if not for the likes of Yngwie, I may never have gotten into this style of music.

So, Malmsteen gets my vote, but it's certainly not a knock on the other two.
