Baker Street. Great song, but you know what, if you took out that sax part, other than the guitar solo, it would be a pretty "meh" song.


Little story I heard about this song a while back (maybe right around the time that Rafferty died).... the guy that wrote the sax part on this song got paid like $50. He was just some session musician. He never got any royalties after that. Funny thing, he was paid by check and the check bounced. Supposedly he never cashed it and still has it. Also, that song overall made Rafferty millions of dollars. True story.
