Hydrazoic Acid and you are not embarrassed by the fact that Plant sang in a wheelchair. I mean sitting!! And once again I want to note that Jimmy’s guitar work in Achilles is his Everest. Achilles simply sounds more powerful than the competitors' song. Jimia's army of guitars defeats Richie with his solo.
Achilles Last Stand may be the best song in a Led Zeppelin. Opening with distorted acoustic notes, the song turns into a monstrously heavy 10-minute long epic full of powerful guitar riffs, galloping rhythm, and some of the best guitar solos I have ever heard which are made even better thanks to the skull-crushing percussion when they are playing. I think what makes this song heavier is the fact that Jimmy Page's riffs are made out of many guitar tracks.

While I do appreciate the drama and confrontation of a good song battle this is one with no clear winner for me. Both songs are just so “epic” as the kids use to say.
I will say, that with “Achilles Last Stand”, again, Plant delivers the lyrics in a cloud of misunderstanding. I didn’t always hear and understand what he was singing until I looked for the lyrics one time. But the music does most of the work here anyway. I find myself imagining Page making that face and doing his boogie shuffle moves while playing guitar and Bonham wearing a bandana and pounding on the drums, the entire band standing ten feet tall.
“Stargazer” you have no problem listening to the words and message from Dio. He sings them right in front of you and allows the music to carry some of the weight. Ritchie’s guitar solo creates such a great mood and helps the listener follow the story almost with chills.
