Well I know that Anvil are playing close by in June, could be tempted if they will be as good as last time, I will have to give this album a play

I have 4 of Anvil's CDs from the 80's Hard 'n' Heavy, Metal on Metal ,Forged in Fire and Strength of Steel. My mates and I used to listen to them quite a bit ***: .... I picked up Worth the Weight, Still Going Strong and This Is Thirteen after seeing the documentary .

I am looking forward to hearing Juggernaut of Justice soon .Apparently it was released yesterday.

The first three are always going to be my favorite but I have to be honest...I think this new CD is their BEST album from all 14

Just checked out buying an LP or 2, wow, $14 and some as high as $30. The movie must have given them a real shot in the arm.

Another top notch perfomance by ANVIL ! Id say even better than last year...different venue...better sound. They played at least 2 off the new album, "juggernaut of justice" and "Conspiracy" which fitted in well with the old favorites .
Great to hear them do some oldies but goodies like "mothra" "school love" and "winged assassin "
Lips always a good frontman joked "is there any old ANVIL fans out there ??....well I see a lot of bald heads...
Looking forward to listening to the new album... Im just getting into the " This is 13" album at moment

Yep what a gig last night LOU, the sound was better than last time as you say the venue was different. I too am looking forward to the new album, hope the vocals are louder than This Is Thirteen. Good of them to come out and meet the fans and sign autographs for us

"Lips" the singer is one of the most likable characters in the metal scene . There was many a character even in the crowd last night !
ANVIL are a mighty metal band and Canada should be proud of them. They were heavy...and its hard to believe that they are only a three piece. "Lips" is also a very underated guitarist !
Top song last night - "Metal on metal " as always.....what a killer riff !!! One of the finest ever.
The city is famous for its steel production but last night.......The anvil was forged......in Sheffield !!
