Anvil (Official Thread)

I first picked up on Anvil via Canadian rock journalist Martin Popoff's book called the Heavy Metal Price Guide or something like that(?) back in the late 1990s and Martin himself appeared to rate the band and gave there individual albums a good write up anyway I checked out Anvil and noticed that 'Lips' played a Flying V which I liked so I went out and bought several of there earlier cds then about 10 years later as I previously posted the band appeared in a rock movie bringing them a whole new group of fan's.

Yep 'Lips' uses one for his slide playing I remember seeing several pictures of him doing that, I presume it belonged to a girlfriend??.

"Well maybe not used by 'Lips' like a proper 'slide guitar player' would use a slide bar but just for fun sliding the thing up & down the guitar neck."

It’s ok….nothing complex or overly exciting, but kinda catchy at times. Plug & Play loudly..
