Re: Anvil

I thought the movie/doc was great MP! :grinthumb Those guys were a riot and it was a blubbering couch trip that compared to Metallica's Some Kind of Monster when those guys butted heads! :oyea: The music was fun in it's own right too! :grinthumb

I love when he flipped out about not being paid at that club! I don't blame him for being pissed! :heheh: All in all, I respect the guys for never giving up on their dreams in the hope that their efforts would finally pay off! :grinthumb Oh, and they are just plain nuts too so that probably helps!

I saw thw film too. I'd never even heard of them. Good film, but I think I get why they didn't hit the big time.

Re: Anvil

Well if you saw the movie you would see that the first three are mentioned as classics. So true! If they would have been affiliated with anyone besides Attic at the time.

One of the best metal instrumentals ever!! :grinthumb

Re: Anvil

I seen the VH1 Documentary and thought it was great. Not too much of an Anvil fan, but the documentary is a must see for any rock fan.

''Metal On Metal'' is classic...love this one...
