I saw Alice for the first time last year and enjoyed his performance more than I thought I would. Some of his early music really reminds for if The Who but I do not consider myself a fan of Alice Cooper.
Ozzy wins this hands down for me. His first two albums are really great. I saw him live in the late 90’s but I would not enjoy myself to see him perform today.
For me that depends on band or solo......I think Coopers band in the early days was great,,, Love It To Death, Killer , and Schools Out are great lps but so are all the early Black Sabbath lps.
Solo I would pick Ozzy especially the first 3 or 4 lps.
Kinda a hard one for me. Never seen either one, but have allot of their albums.. I'm leaning towards Ozzy and know I'll start my day off with Alice songs in my head.
Alice for me, far more prolific than Ozzy, a great showman with a clever tongue in cheek way of presenting lyrics. I love Ozzy too, but Alice for me outclasses him. Plus I really love concept albums and character based songs. Both of them have a knack for finding incredible guitarists too!
