Bought the new album last week, but still haven't had time to listen to it!

I listened to the debut years ago and while a shit-ton of international Metalhead on-line friends and acquaintances raved about these guys I wasnt really caught up in the wave of enthusiasm. I really think the tag pirate metal is a bit cheesy and think that put me off some.
Plus Running Wild had already played the Jolly Rogers thing pretty much to it's end.
First expressions years ago...

Thinking I might need to give these guys another shot. Suggestions ??

The tag Pirate Metal is lame and is a lot like how people say Viking Metal. Neither are actual sub-genres of metal.

The new album would be worth a shot tbh.
