Seems to me both Paul and Gene are adamant about the current line-up of the band being more important than including their former bandmates when it comes down to things like this.

I think Ace and Peter should be welcome to join them onstage accepting the award, playing a song or two well that's where it's obvious things get complicated.

I won't be watching anyway, this HOF is embarrassing the way they do business.

Even better....I mean this is getting hilarious, so they're attending an awards dinner thrown by people they hate, for an award they hate, and are playing there without half the band who they also hate. I'll bet anyone $100 they come out afterwards and say that they hated the food.
