They say that hearing loss came from passion for car's. How is that? I'd prefer a guest a guest vocalist rather than Dave Evans. There are many options like this and that.

Btw, Def Leppard also recently cancelled a few concerts in order to give singer Joe Elliott time to recover from a throat ailment. Guys never get younger.

But a bit later Def Leppard rescheduled their tour and added a lot more concerts. I guess AC/DC might do the same.
