Exactly. :grinthumb

We're talking rock music...not metal....and Alanis Morissette and Cyndi Lauper??!

C'mon! :heheh:

You have country , folk, pop, and prog in your list.....:wtf:

Haha...your list proved rock is dead to others. :grinthumb

Hey, rock is dead or dying a slow death...it's a bitter pill to swallow, I understand.

Here's some kleenex...

No bitter pill here my friend. You asked for a list of 50...and seeing that the members who participated gave a list of 50...looks like your point was not made. The only point that was made? There is good rock music in 2008.

You may not know alot of it but that's no ones fault but your own. :grinthumb

I don't need any Kleenex here my friend, but if you want me to be like you or at least REALLY know what you're talking about...let me borrow a couple items from you

On second thought...nevermind. They're probably more valuable to you.

:grinthumb :cheers2

It's only music....

The thought just occured to me that if the music of 2008 sounded exactly like 1968, can you imagine how boring that would be?

40 years of listening to nothing but the same chords, the same beats, the same harmonies, nothing changing......

I am sorry, Groovy, but I would love to back you up on your theory that rock is dead or terminally ill. I honestly feel there is still good rock n roll to be found........
