Of the 16 on your list the only ones I have heard and consider underrated are Sabotage and Powerage. The rest range from meh to absolute garbage.

EDIT

Oh yeah, Fair Warning kicks ass as well.

I think a fair chunk of 80's Aerosmith is underrated. Lots criticise them for a somewhat commercialised sound but to me they're still pretty decent albums. Sabotage I can agree with actually considering it followed up for me their best work in Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and doesn't really get the credit it deserves as far as a rock album goes.

80s Aerosmith is almost as depressing as 80s Rush. And that is one boatload of depression there.

I prefer every 80s Rush album over Moving Pictures to be honest. I don't consider the 80s of either band to be remotely depressing. To each their own though I think both bands 80's eras are underrated. I like the fact a band was willing to try something different.

Yep, to each his own. And I also respect that Rush was at least following their muse rather than blatantly selling out.

So you don't like Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Lenny Kravitz, Aerosmith, Rush, Neil Young or any of the like?

Actually the '80s was when some of their best albums were created.:omg:Do you only like Rush's & Aerosmith's first albums or something? The '80s had a hell of a lot of great stuff to bring from both bands. It stands/stood the test of time.

I like Rush all the way up and including Hemispheres the best and Aerosmith up to and including Rocks the best. Everything after was either gradual decline (Rush) into almost unlistenable drivel to steep off the cliff derpery of the highest order (Aerosmith).

I say this as a long time fan of both bands. As for Neil Young, I like his stuff a lot but mostly the earlier the better ditto for Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent (who fell off a cliff after firing Derek St. James or whatever that guys name was. That was as devastating to his band as Brian Jones leaving The Stones to me anyway.

As for Kravitz, the less said about him the better. I like that he tried to revive true hard rock but I don't think he was very successful as far as actual musical output goes.

^ I also agree that Rush's & Aerosmith's best stuff was mainly their earlier stuff, yet they still put out some legendary albums later on (Rush) & some good albums in recent times (Aerosmith). By the way, Ted's side partner is Derek St. Holmes & Brian Johnson is the singer for AC/DC. Derek St. Holmes was great with/for Ted, but he's fine just without him too. Kinda like how Neil Young is still good without Crazy Horse, ya know?

Bon Scott is the singer for AC DC. That band died with him.
