I didn't say that Black Sabbath never do Rock. I just said that "Sabotage" isn't Rock, it's Metal, ya see?

To you maybe. To me its a bit of each. And I do request use of the multi quote feature in future if you have multiple posts to reply to.

Totally agree with this. A hot dog player who tries to be a soloist all the time is rarely as good for a song than a guy who tries to do all he can to compliment a tune rather than stroke his own ego.
From one Drummer to another, it's just the way it has to be. Drumming for/in music is such an art, such an important part of a song. Solos are fun from time to time, but solos rarely if ever are needed to make a song (great).

It's right up there for me. I've been talking/thinking about my Top 4 Neil Young albums for quite some time and have never placed "On The Beach" out of that category. Here's my Top 4 Neil Young albums by the way...

(Not necessarily in order here)

1. "Ragged Glory."

2. "On The Beach."

3. "Zuma."

4. "Tonight's The Night."

I was listening to "Lookout Joe" from "Tonight's The Night" before and turned it up a bit. God, I love that song. I really like "Walk On" & all of the "Blues" titled songs from "On The Beach", especially "Vampire Blues."
