In regard to Slave and Masters it is interesting that it was your favourite song. I slaved away listening to most of the songs on the album which are all quite special and ended up choosing Fire in the Basement because it had a little blues element mixed with a little Jazzy feel, the instrumental interaction between Ritchie Blackmore , Jon Lord and the rest of the band sold it to me :)

As to Def Lepard 'Tear it Down' as we (my friends and me) use to say back in the 70' & 80's a very tasty band with a very tasty song. 8.5/10

I often think when something special like The Doors come along- it ain't gonna last, like Hendrix and others from the 27 club..serious chemicals were taken- to go beyond the norm...to deliver such as this to us! 10/10 for energy, rebellion and knife edge blues.
