Nice find Buck!

I am thinking about snapping up a copy.

Jim

Mr. Jim...I'll be honest saying the price scared me a bit but I really love the set...14 discs! The hardcover book is nice too. It's just wild going through the various bands & styles of music starting with the Big Soul band stuff playing blues & Rock & Roll cover tunes (back then they opened for the Beatles in Hamburg) through weird psychedelic stuff through the Sensational Alex Harvey Band theatrical hard rock stuff. I think there's at least 4 versions of Moses including one with a horn section

Buck the price is scary for sure. But the total collection of work in that thing has to be cool to have.

For years i only associated Alex with SAHB not really knowing he had all kinds of other work. Years ago i started to read and learn more about Alex's work. The challenge was there wasn't a whole lot of sources of information about him.

But with all the big aniversaries like 30 and 40 years and whatnot more and more comes out.

Well this is a good one. And good to see i never felt Alex got his due. I only wish he could have seen it

I met a youngish guy in his mid/late 20s once at work about 15 years ago who told me SAHB were his favourite rock band which strangely left an impression on me.

I still have several SAHB cds the first 5 cds I believe plus the Penthouse Tapes b/w SABH Live. I did at onetime have the Rock Drill cd album but haven't got it anymore it came as a double cd with another SAHB album.
