Well, I can't debate that. Agree to disagree I guess.

My main point was that something like Kid A was way more electronic than Hail.

Love how this turned into a Radiohead thread. lol

I also would throw Alice in Chains Facelift into my favourite 90s albums. Dirt I do prefer but Facelift is a classic too.

Well, they were a pretty prominent presence in the world of music from around 1993 until the end of the decade (which is most of the 90s) when expectations for the follow-up to the universally acclaimed Ok Computer were sky high!

I liked OK Computer but I enjoyed the albums before it more.

The debut, Pablo Honey was a mixed bag in my opinion. The Bends was my top favourite for the longest time (and sometimes I think it still is!) until I let Ok Computer sink in. Right now I think it is a tussle between Bends and Ok for the top spot in my rankings with Kid A following very closely behind. So yeah, as much as I like their electronic albums as well, the rock still reigns supreme. :p

AC/DC with the Razors Edge certainly proved they hit a return to form in 1990. That and Ballbreaker are two great albums to come from the 90s.

really while I like a few songs on Pablo Honey I consider it their worst album after King of Limbs. This idea that Radiohead sucks after Ok Computer because they changed to more electronic doesn't fly with me.

I agree. I liked the album after it and they blew from then on. (in my opinion) Its not the fact they changed their sound but the actual results I hated. I like electronics from other bands much better.
Most didn't care for Pablo but I enjoyed it a lot.

Agreed 100%. Pablo is their worst after Limbs.

I do feel though that they haven't topped Bends and Ok as yet. I enjoy everything from Kid A to Rainbows but nothing beats those 2 90s heavyweights! :D

Sail to the Moon
Go to Sleep
Where I End and You Begin
We Suck Young Blood
There There
I Will
A Punchup at a Wedding
Scatterbrain
A Wolf at the Door

That's 10 out of the 14 songs on Hail To The Thief. And none of those songs are electronic. They're very much rock.

If anything, Hail was a return to rock.
Still a turd
