You can't go wrong with the first 8 (Ozzy years) and it's essential to own the first three with DIO (Heaven & Hell,Mob Rules,Live Evil) after that it's all pick and choose and it's all good.

One must pick up Born Again also as it's the only time you wil hear IAN GILLAN and Black Sabbath together. (Yes that's Bev Bevan from ELO on drums in the TRASHED video...he was on that tour)

Me personally MP.. I like DIO when he worked with Ritchie Blackmore on the "Man From The Silver Mountain" LP..

I agree with Thumper I liked Dio in Rainbow more than Sabbath, but MP has persuaded me to revisit a couple of the Dio albums with Sabbath.

Ozzy will always be the voice/persona I associate with Sabbath, I grew up with him and am too set in my ways to change now.

Yeah but hey in my defense I knew at least 4-5 Black Sabbath songs before buying there c.d. recently. I always listened to more of Ozzy solo before.

I prefer Ozzy in Sabbath to any of his solo works, I only have Blizzard of Oz...sorry Ozzy fans but that is enough for me.

No Thumper I don't think so, it might have been in the background at a party in my youth but I never sat down and just listened to it.

I'm sure you have heard the song. "No More Tears" Right?? It's a good CD.. It has some rocken stuff on it..
