The original list left out the Japan only EP Aurora. The four songs are all on "The Very Best of Asia: Heat of the Moment (1982-1990)", which is a great collection of 18 songs.

I have the vinyl EP around here somewhere. I bought it before I knew the songs were available elsewhere.

Archiva Vols. 1 & 2 are collections of outtakes from the John Payne era, and some of the tracks are really good.

"The Smoke That Thunders" is something Geoff & John did around a drum track of Carl's that they liked.

ETA: Just now listening to the Greatest Hits & the song Lying To Yourself (from the Aurora EP) has some of the most Steve Howe like guitars of any Asia song. Or at least strongest in the mix.

Having not heard them I took a gamble buying their first 3 albums.

The first three Asia albums are very good. Phoenix from way later on is really good also.

RIP John Wetton. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned here. Apparently he died from cancer yesterday. One of my favorite singers and bass players too.
