I know what you mean.The price can draw you in.Lots of headphones half price at the moment so i may splash out .Listening to the Mighty Atomic rooster-Death walks at the mo.I bet you have that on vinyl

I actually don't use headphones or own an ipod though I do have an old discman I keep handy for when I travel. I just use the earplug-type things that came with it..

Not into Mp3's & iTunes, (no offense to anyone who is though) ..I'm just too used to my CD's & stereo...

The above speakers are Mirage 290is. I really liked the sound BUT I just don't have a use for them anymore. Really smooth sonics...very non-fatiguing on the ears with any pre and amp combo. Bi-amp capability with two sets of connections. I've kept the pair in near pristine condition now they are headed to someone who has been looking for these a long time. I'm glad they are going to a good home.

^^Those are nice George, I still have a Mirage Center channel and subwoofer I bought over 15 years ago. I'll be listing them just to find a home for them, like you I don't use them anymore but they are still in great condition.
