WOW.. I thought Warrant would have gotten at least one vote.. That song isn't all that bad even though Jani joked about how he hated it..

probably one of the best known ones of that era, Warrant have so many songs that are way better, but I don't think he was joking when he said he didn't want to be known as the "cherry pie guy" and could shoot himself in the head for writing it !

Maybe that was the doing of the record company? Jani mentioned the album was supposed to be called Uncle Tom's Cabin and I've seen another title mentioned as well.

Lately I've been learning a lot about how bands and musicians actually had/have so little control over certain aspects of the albums by them when they were/are released by the big record companies. Kind of mind blowing when one has been a somewhat naive music lover as far knowing/understanding the workings of the "business"/"industry".

Cherry Pie is definitely not my favorite by Warrant. There's other songs they did that I like a lot better. The greatest hits CD gets a fair amount of play in my world.

I voted Cherry Pie to be different, and because I find it to be successful for cringe-worthy, face palming comedic relief.

They're all awesome songs, but I choose Sweet Child because obviously it has Slash's unique intro. It's a different song to the era, whereas a lot of the hair metal songs sounded very similar.

And I agree with Cosmic, gnr aren't exactly hair metal but they're of that era I guess...
