It was a good read. If you are expecting any new dirt on Kiss, there isn't any. Ace basically explains his love of cocaine and alcohol. A couple pretty good tour stories. I watched Kissology Volume 1 this weekend, trying to pinpoint when Ace and Peter started doing alot of blow. I came up with the conclusion that, they really started playing more uptempo when they did blow. I then watched the April 77 concert from Japan (probably didn't bring blow with them) and it was much slower than Jan 77 Madison Square Garden and the concert later in 77 in Houston supporting Love Gun. Just a thought.

Yeah I heard all those songs sped up on thsoe shows. Peter was sending the band off the rails on those. :oyea:

A little on the sloppy side too. You can see it, almost in Peter's face. Pretty wirey looking, and when he's playing he's turning is head (quite jerky) left to right...it's like he couldn't control it. :heheh:

Very cool. I definitely want to get this book. I'm also glad to hear he didn't start slinging any sort of unknown stories about his former bandmates. I know Ace has gotten a bit pissy regarding Gene in the past 10+ yrs, but taking the high road is good.

:)

I'll have to watch that as well. Ususually when I watch that DVD, I'm doing something else and mostly just listen to it as background music. Will have to give it my full attention next time I throw it in.

Peter sounded soooo solid. Right in the pocket. He was a VERY great drummer before all the drugs and s*** :grinthumb
