This is still an interesting smooth track by Peter Criss from Let Me Rock You

First Day In The Rain

I though the video of "She" for the Midnight Special, showed Peter at the peak of his powers. Even the video of Kiss during the Alive tour at Cobo Hall, I thought he was getting sloppy.

Whats the best Kiss live concert DVD?

I mentioned Kiss earlier in another thread, and being very impulsive, I jumped up and checked to see what Kiss albums I have, not that many to my surprise - Destroyer, Love Gun, Dressed to Kill, Creatures of the Night, Rock n Roll Over, and I think that's it. One thing I don't have though is a Kiss concert DVD, I saw them once about 10 years ago in Virginia Beach, and it was as wild and over the top and unforgettable as I knew it would be before I even bought tickets, so I just thought, why don''t I have a really good Kiss live DVD? Trouble is there's too many to choose from, I just want a good concise concert on DVD showcasing them at their best both musically and visually, though I'm totally not interested in any of those Kissology Volumes, of which there are 3 or 4, I just took a look at Volume 3 online, and it runs to 160 tracks if you count the bonus discs, I counted 10 different live versions of 'Rock n Roll All Night' alone on Kissology Vol 3, and so I assume there's maybe 10 more on Volume 1, and 10 more on Volume 2, which makes you wonder if there was ever a Kiss gig that didn't end up on DVD?!!! So I'd appreciate it if anyone can tell me which Kiss concert DVD is the most accessible and best?
Thanks!!

I'm not sure. I know they did an HBO special in the 70's of one of the concerts in Japan, I think it's the one that is on Kissology Volume 1. There may be a DVD of just that show, but I'm not sure. I would say personally, my favorite tour to see them would be the Dressed to Kill/Alive tour. I think that's when they were at their best, they have it on Kissology volume 1, but I'm pretty sure you can't get just that concert on DVD.

Nice and dark...very mysterious as well. When this was a brand new thing it freaked people out more. Much heavier too. :grinthumb

I've talked with some high school friends on facebook about them seeing KISS at the swing autotourium in 1974 and they really didn't know anything about KISS but they said when they seen them come on stage, it freaked them out!! They were horrified of them because of their costumes..:oyea: They like them now, but not back then..:heheh:

Check out this original demo of There's Nothing Better

This song was on Peter's solo album "Out Of Control" but looks like he was shootin' for Dynasty maybe.
