You don't know what goes on behind closed doors.
no one does, but you wording it like that that makes it seem like you think that she's a victim of something. I don't buy it at all. Do you really think someone was forcing her to do drugs for ... what? 5-6 years?

I just tuned into the news to get the latest on the Norwegian tragedy and was saddened to hear the news of Amy's death. She was certainly on a one-way ticket to self-destruction but I always hoped she'd get the help she needed and come through her problems. What a wonderful talent she was and it was sad to see her in the last performances she did in a total mess.

It's on the news at the moment and so far there is no news as to whether it was drink/drugs that caused her death. Police are conducting investigations at the moment and the only thing they are saying is that her death is 'unexplained'.

Not so easy. Very complicated story. Blake is smack in the middle of it.

Well annie.. I didn't expect my first comment to be taken like who is responsible for this happening.. Either way.. She is gone.. And this isn't going to be pretty.. I liked her even if she was drunk or high or what ever..I don't hate people for those kinds of problems.. If they are deep in the addictions. well.. best pray for their survival, if you care about them..

So many experts on drug addiction here!
I have watched SEVERAL people go through drug and alcohol addictions. I have known people who have died due to their addictions and I also know people who pulled their heads out of their asses and got cleaned up. I had a few 'shady' years in my past and I saw some shit up close and personal that most people would only hear about in the news, if that.

Speaking only for myself... I may not be an 'expert', but I am pretty ****ing informed on addictions. There are way too many people in society that make excuses for people's actions, blame others and the addicts themselves have very little to worry about in terms of repercussions because of people that pamper them, coddle them and make excuses for them.

People need to realize that we are ALL responsible for our own actions and sometimes those actions have an unfortunate end/result. Helping someone and/or seeking help for someone is one thing (and a good thing). Excusing them is not.

Lynch.. I know people who don't use drugs who have this fault..:heheh: Maybe that's just a personality trait for some who are spoiled growing up. Loads of rich and famous kids end up addicted because they have the means to support the partying..:peek
