I much prefer to think of Ozzy as the one and only original "Prince of Darkness", than what was portrayed on their hit show.

However, at least Ozzy and Simmons have accomplished a lot in their lifetimes, unlike Hilton and Kardashian, who represent the worst kind of celebrity in the history of humankind.

I saw that clip yesterday, and then the clip from the Today Show. I don't follow the personal life of any celeb, including "Geney", and after watching these clips I was intrigued. So I watched a few episodes, including the last one from last season - Tweed is asking him if it isn't time to give it up (touring, etc).

She talks about the kids being in college now and that she is ready to leave - she stayed with him for the kids. Whaaa. She's not leaving that good life.

And who the f*ck would want to f*ck around with "Geney"???????? OMG please!! He may have been and may still be a great rock star, but No Way in Hell!!! (squirms at the thought!!). I'd be celibate before I'd do the nasty with the him - he appears to be able to be charming and appears (again, limited view here!) to have some intelligence, but that hair! I can't get past that hair. UGH!

Kardashians crack me up. I sit and laugh at them. I have to say, if there would have been more brutal honesty and laughter and craziness in my house growing up, we might all be more normal. Sure, they are attention whores, but it appears that they at least like one another.

Sharone Ozbourne is sensational. Ozzy is hilarious.


BTW, what WAS said that made Tweed so mad? That part is cut from the clip... any idea anyone?

I don't think Shannon would be lacking for money if she did leave. She's put in her time and would get a nice settlement I'm sure.

As for reality shows in general, I simply would rather live what life I have left than waste it watching those shows, no matter who it is.

But if other people enjoy them, that is their prerogative of course.

Oh, absolutely! They have accomplishments up the yin yang and though I'm not a KISS fan, I can at least acknowledge that Gene Simmons is one of the biggest names in rock, possibly pop culture altogether.

And I don't blame you for passing on the shows, it definitely keeps the rock star badass image in tact when you don't have to watch them picking up dog poop.

As for Hilton and Kardashian, let's put them on their own private island with plenty of paps that will take many pictures of them with fancy engagement rings and HUGE sunglasses and crotch shots as they get out of their $250,000 vehicles.

^^Right on the money Lady B. Every woman that's involved with an active touring rock star knows the territory. If it is a PR ploy which seems more than likely then not many people are buying it, at least not in the forum.

And how many years has this useless show been on anyway? To suddenly become tired of the intrusive nature of it now is laughable, especially knowing Gene's arrogance and love of being in the spotlight. Even if it cost him Shannon, he simply can't change who he is.

Well.. The truth about the Kardashian girls is they have done well in marketing themselves (along with their mothers help) and even though they were the children of the famous OJ Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian,they have done alot more than Paris Hilton as far as having at least the brains to know how to dress themselves.
But I watched the show and it's quite good as far as another "family" reality show.. It beats the hell out of "The Real World" and other shows I've watched.
Bruce Jenner I'm sure is proud of his step daughters. They get out there and work besides just doing appearances.

But back to the Tweed thing.. Yes Shannon has had some roles in quite a few movies, but I really think she isn't putting on a front for the show.. That would mean that Joy was in on the publicity stunt.
Joy asked some personal questions.. First off Gene has been faithful to Shannon for 28 years. He past the lie detector to prove that when Shannon failed!!
So for Joy to bring up a very old subject about Gene active sex life PRIOR to meeting or moving in with Shannon was just a question of dirt..
It was wrong for Joy to focus on that!!

ON that subject, I saw that episode, or at least the part in the studio with Bonnaduci and whoever else was there. You have to admit, those questions were worded just right though too. Ie; the ultimate cheating question was something like "in the time you've been with Shannon, have you ever made love to another woman". His answer was no and it passed the lie detector test.

However, in at least some people's minds, "making love" and "****ing" aren't necessarily the same thing. a guy might make love to his wife (or life partner in Shannon's case) but yet still **** a groupie.

The whole 2000+ women that he's supposedly slept with has been an ongoing thing for many years, whose to say if it's real or not. I'm sure he did his fair share of messing around with the ladies over the years, but I think that number is more about the pictures that he's supposedly taken as opposed to the number of women he's actually slept with. *double shrug*
